Grilled Ribeye with Rosemary Butter

Ingredients

• 2 ribeye steaks (1½-inch thick)
• Kosher salt and freshly cracked pepper
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 4 tbsp unsalted butter
• 2 garlic cloves, minced
• 1 tbsp chopped fresh rosemary

Preparation

  1. Remove steaks from refrigeration 30–45 minutes before grilling. Generously season with salt and pepper.
  2. Preheat grill to high heat. Brush steaks lightly with olive oil.
  3. Grill 4–5 minutes per side for medium-rare, adjusting for desired doneness.
  4. Meanwhile, combine butter, garlic, and rosemary in a small saucepan over low heat until fragrant.
  5. Rest steaks for 5 minutes before serving. Spoon the rosemary garlic butter over the top and gather around the table with a glass of your favorite Charles Krug red.
